1/30 Process Post

For this project, I wanted to try and work on a large set of smaller comics rather than a single larger piece. Overall, this new process has been very interesting, and I like how it forces me to simplify my ideas and drawings. I've been working on using line weight to convey perspective and depth since I'm only working in black and white. These comics have been going well, and I'm pretty pleased with how the first few have turned out.

Even though I like this process, I'm not sure if I want to do it for future projects. I really miss working in color, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to come up with funny ideas quickly enough to make a ton of comics. I also don't like prioritizing quantity over the quality of my work, especially because my work might be displayed around the school. Eventually, I want to create artwork that is both visually impressive and funny.
