I Survived Art 3

Over this year in art, I learned what mediums and styles I like to use. I finally got a chance to really experiment with with many different media, and I ended up really enjoying alcohol markers and ink. I also improved my time management when making art, so I can keep up my inspiration through all the phases of working on a piece.

My greatest growth this year was developing my techniques with alcohol markers. I improved nearly all of my skills by a small amount, but I feel that I saw the greatest improvement with my alcohol markers. I definitely need to work on my craftsmanship and patience while finishing all the fine details of my pieces. Even though I've improved, I still have a bad habit of getting impatient and not finishing the final edits.

Now that I know what media I like to use, I can specialize in alcohol markers and ink for my independent work next year. I definitely like some of the themes I explored with my play pages, but I also want to try branching out.

Overall, I really enjoyed this year in Art 3 and I'm really excited for Art 4 next year!
