Oil Painting Finale

Overall, oil painting was a fun project. I really liked the process behind it, and it was really exciting to see the painting come together. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of painting realistically. I found that the stress of capturing everything as accurately as I could took away from my enjoyment, and if I were to do oil painting again, I'd much rather do something more fantastical from my imagination.


I had no idea how difficult painting all the geometric shapes would be. I originally thought it would be easier because everything would be broken into sharp, straight lines that I could easily understand in a 3D space. However, it took a long time for me to understand each and every shape, and any slight error in drawing led to some of the dice looking warped and out-of-proportion.
