Project 8 Process Post (Part 2)

This project is going a bit slower than I would have hoped, but I think that's because I'm missing two out of the six studio days. If I stay after school a few days next week I can definitely finish this project up.

I've been experimenting with using my fine-tip pens for shading, and I think it's going to help give my comics a lot more depth and variety. I especially like how it turned out on the rain and fast food comics (top-left and top-right). I'm a bit nervous to start using ink on the fifth comic (bottom center) because the joke relies on the dramatic lighting and I don't want to mess it up.

I've also begun a bad pattern of coming up with funny drawing ideas, but then I struggle to come up with good captions to go with them. I think for the next project, I want to establish a rule for myself next time that I'm not allowed to draw a comic idea until I have a good caption to go with it.
