Week 1 of Artist Copy Project

As of Monday, I finished all the linework and got to test out the ink I'm going to use. It took me much longer than I hoped to finish all the sketching, but hopefully I can make up for lost time in the inking process. I also figured out how to replicate the artist's shading style by layering on brown ink mixed with water. On Thursday, I started to use ink on the paper, starting with outlining the areas around the edge of the piece. I'm still working on how to replicate the artist's linework. I forgot to take a picture on Thursday, but I'll take one this upcoming Monday before I start working.
